Dan Whatmore - Registered Osteopath

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Osteopathy and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). He practises a structural approach to osteopathy, using a combination of hands-on techniques including manipulation and mobilisation to restore movement, reduce pain, and support recovery.

With a strong sporting background, Dan brings first-hand insight into the physical demands of training and competition. He has completed two 70.3 (Half Ironman) events and finished his first full-distance Ironman in Switzerland in August 2025. He is currently training for the Frankfurt Ironman in June 2026. His personal experience in triathlon enhances his understanding of running, cycling, and swimming injuries, as well as performance optimisation.

Dan has a particular clinical interest in the management of neck and lower back pain, alongside sports-related injuries, especially running. He combines evidence-based treatment with practical rehabilitation strategies to help patients move better, feel stronger, and perform at their best.

Dan is in clinic on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
