James has experience in professional, academy and non-league football with St Albans City FC and at Leyton Orient FC as a Sports Therapist. He coupled this work in football with private practice, giving him a wide breadth of skills. During this period, he developed crucial skills in assessing and managing sports-related injuries.
James also completed a 2-year Master’s in Physiotherapy. He began his NHS career in a busy NHS Trust in London, developing his clinical knowledge in a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal rehab, as well as operative care. He has also spent the last few years working part-time in a busy Private Physio Clinic in South East London. James has progressed to the level of Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, and now works full-time in the local NHS Trust after moving to Hertfordshire.
James is dedicated to helping people return to their sport or activity, with a special interest in lower limb rehab for hip and knee injuries. In his Senior Physio role within the NHS, he treats a wide variety of upper and lower limb conditions, including post-operative rehab and chronic tendon issues in patients of all ages and activity levels. James is also a keen runner, and has just completed the 2026 London Marathon.
James will be in clinic on Mondays, starting form late August.
