Osteopathy
Osteopathy - Fast, Effective Treatment for Pain Relief
At MVMNT, our priority is to help people out of pain and moving freely. We offer both osteopathy and physiotherapy, which complement each other in your recovery journey. Osteopathy offers a holistic and hands-on approach to managing back pain by identifying and treating the root causes of discomfort, whether from muscle tension, joint restriction, poor posture, or injury. Osteopaths at MVMNT use joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue techniques, stretching, and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to reconstitute your body’s own healing mechanisms.
What issues can Osteopathy help with?
Sports injuries
Aches & pains
Arthritic pain
General, acute & chronic back pain
Neck pain, headaches & migraines

Many workplace health schemes such as Healthshield and Medicash, cover Osteopathy. As with physio, we will send you a paid invoice with our HCPC/GOsC information to claim back the expense of your treatment.

Sports Massage
Whether you’re considering a massage to improve post-exercise healing, or would like to relieve the stresses and strains of modern life, we’re here to help. Whilst sports massage is often used to help athletes and active sportspeople to perform at their best, it’s also beneficial for those who experience discomfort and tension in their bodies caused by everyday stresses, for example office-based workers who sit at a desk all day.
Sports massage is very popular with people preparing for big running or other sporting event as it promotes quicker recovery in the body, so can be an effective addition to your training programme.
Note: Our sports massage service does not include assessment of a specific musculoskeletal injury, or joint manipulations. If you feel like you need an assessment of a specific musculoskeletal injury, then we advise that you book a physiotherapy/osteopathy appointment.
